On the 18th of October the Business-Breakfast – an event arranged by DVP audit – took place in Moscow. The topic:
«Mistakes in accounting and tax balance: Overview of audit results from 2017-2018»
During this event we discussed following contents:
- mandatory audit of financial statements
- typical accounting mistakes of fixed assets, estimated liabilities, estimated values and financial investments
Furthermore challenges were analyzed which might arise in the preparation of financial statements regarding the reflection of insurance premiums, the reflection of the short-term part of long-term loan obligations and the reflection of tax penalties & sanctions.
The second part of the event was devoted to the investigation of the most common mistakes in the calculation of taxes and fees:
- Income tax
- VAT
- Personal income tax
- Property tax
